چکیده

The regulation of adhesion and the subsequent behavior fibroblast cells on surface biomaterials is important for successful tissue regeneration wound healing by implanted biomaterials. We have synthesized poly(ω-methoxyalkyl acrylate)s (PMCxAs; x indicates number methylene carbons between ester ethyl oxygen), with a carbon chain length = 2–6, to investigate cell including adhesion, proliferation, migration, differentiation collagen production. found that PMC2A suppressed spreading, protein adsorption, formation focal normal human dermal fibroblasts, while PMC4A surfaces enhanced them compared other PMCxAs. Our findings suggest activities attached PMCxA substrates can be modified changing in side chains polymers. These results indicate PMCxAs could useful coating materials use skin dressing applications.

Regulation of the Contribution of Integrin to Cell Attachment on Poly(2-Methoxyethyl Acrylate) (PMEA) Analogous Polymers for Attachment-Based Cell Enrichment

Cell enrichment is currently in high demand in medical engineering. We have reported that non-blood cells can attach to a blood-compatible poly(2-methoxyethyl acrylate) (PMEA) substrate through integrin-dependent and integrin-independent mechanisms because the PMEA substrate suppresses protein adsorption. Therefore, we assumed that PMEA analogous polymers can change the contribution of integrin...

Adhesion and Proliferation of Human Periodontal Ligament Cells on Poly(2-methoxyethyl acrylate)

Human periodontal ligament (PDL) cells obtained from extracted teeth are a potential cell source for tissue engineering. We previously reported that poly(2-methoxyethyl acrylate) (PMEA) is highly biocompatible with human blood cells. In this study, we investigated the adhesion, morphology, and proliferation of PDL cells on PMEA and other types of polymers to design an appropriate scaffold for t...

Effect of interfacial structure on bioinert properties of poly(2-methoxyethyl acrylate)/poly(methyl methacrylate) blend films in water.

In this study, we found that the surface made of a mixture of poly(2-methoxyethyl acrylate) (PMEA) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) exhibited excellent blood compatibility by inhibiting platelet adhesion. To obtain a better understanding of this bioinertness, the polymer/water interface was characterized by neutron reflectivity measurements and sum frequency generation spectroscopy, in conj...

The effect of Fibroblast Growth Factor-2(FGF-2) and retinoic acid on differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells into neural cells

Introduction: Embryonic Stem (ES) cells as pluripotent cells derived from the inner cell mass of blastula can differentiate to neural cells in vitro and this property is valuable in studies of neurogenesis and in the generation of donor cells for transplantation. In this regard, the propose of this research, was the study of the role of two important factors in the development of neural syst...

Study on Synthesis and Characterization of Unsaturated Poly (ester-amide) as Bone Fixation Materials

A new type of unsaturated poly ester-amide was prepared by melt polycondensation and characterized completely. Influence of heat treatment conditions and cross-linking content on mechanical and degradation properties of unsaturated polyester-amide were studied. Results suggested that the newly synthesized unsaturated poly(ester-amide) possessed good heat stabilization properties. Mechanical...
